Analysis of the available information on the HAS20 development site as detailed on the previous pages on this site has shown that the resulting Outline Planning Applicaion falls short on highway and pedestrian safety, particularly in relation to Station Road.
This is also backed up by the experts at the council who have raised these concerns in response to the Development Brief, these comments have been quoted on the Development Brief page.
Safe pedestrian and vehicular access to the new "Two Form Entry" (2FE) Primary School and adequate parking for drop of and collection are key policy requirements for HAS20 in the local plan and also mandated by the Planning Inspectors who examined HAS20 in the local plan.
[OPINION] The safety of Children and parents walking to the new Primary School should be of primary importance, it is important the everybody in the village submits their objection to this Outline Planning Applicaion before the deadline on the 28th of Janurary.[/OPINION]
